Vision and Purpose
The process for establishing and building understanding of and commitment to the
vision statement among stakeholders has been in continuity at ZSIS for protracted
period of time.
ZSIS’s vision is best summarized in school’s logo “Striving For Excellence.” ZSIS
has reached a point whereby its students – the target of stakeholders’ painstaking
educational process – have grown better achievers. Certainly, this “better” student
achievement is the result of ZSIS adherence to Advanc-ED’s seven standards for quality
education, in addition to the teachers’ responsible leadership that ensured “the
school’s vision, purpose and goals guide the teaching and learning process.”
ZSIS has been keenly attentive to the obligation of aligning its vision and purpose
with its expectations for student learning and school effectiveness.
ZSIS is committed to delivering an educational message to all its students in a
way that caters for “all” learners through differentiated instruction and supplementary
work.
Parallel to this is ZSIS’s enforcement of the ethics of healthy cultural diversity,
since it firmly believes that students’ academic and cultural diversities are to
go on so peacefully and successfully.
ZSIS has also proved the effectiveness of the learning process by producing students
with lifelong critical thinking skills – skills students need to lead a successful
career in the near future.
ZSIS firmly believes that when students are provided with appropriate environment
and aids, they would do greater in the education arena, and would by far surpass
even the set goals to broader and deeper ones.
ZSIS’s Mission Statement and Vision are equal in their expression: ZSIS seeks to
develop the whole person by addressing his or her individual needs, encouraging
positive values, and celebrating diversity.
